Event Details:

Join local artist Fiona and try out some simple art techniques. Engaging in art can be therapeutic and learning these simple art skills will be a fun way to help expand our neural pathways! These beginner classes will explore the art of mandala, journaling, collage, and print making. It's about play and fun – let’s keep it simple and enjoy the process. 

4 Bite size (1 hour) art classes for adults, across a range of simple art practices. Sessions are:

1. September 12th - Creating a mandala, pen and ink drawing
2. September 19th- Paper techniques - making a journal
3. September 26th - Playing with colour and collage - creating journal pages
4. October 3rd - Print making - cutting simple stamps

A $5.00 non-refundable fee is required by September 5th to confirm registration. Space is limited.

BIO: Fiona is a mixed media artist & writer with a part time corporate job on Bay Street, managing learning for a global firm.  She emigrated to Canada a decade ago, from the UK, for the adventure of a new life and to free up time, from work, to make and create art.  A keen advocate for mental wellness she has learnt, over the years, the importance of play alongside all the serious grown up stuff we juggle. She has lived in Bolton all that time.
