Event Details:

We are excited to invite you to an open house event at our new build factory site in Brampton, where we will welcome volunteers and community members. We are currently seeking volunteers to join us as Crew Leaders for this project. This informal information session will provide potential volunteers with the opportunity to visit the site and learn more about the responsibilities and expectations of the Crew Leader role.

What You Need to Know About Becoming a Crew Leader:                                                                                                                                                                            

• Experience: Volunteers should have some build experience and knowledge of the safe use of power tools.
• Training: Onsite training is provided by our skilled Site Supervisor.
• Safety: All necessary Personal Protective Equipment is available for volunteers.
• Schedule: We build year-round, Monday to Friday, with 8-hour shifts from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
• Self-Scheduling: Shifts are self-scheduled via online registration.
• First Aid: First Aid training is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Time Commitment: We request a commitment of two shifts per month as part of the build program.
