In celebration of Circular Economy Month and Waste Reduction Week, ecoCaledon is excited to host a Repair Cafe - a free community event that empowers residents to reduce waste and embrace sustainable practices. Join us on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Humber River Centre (28 Ann Street, Bolton), and discover how easy it is to repair rather than replace broken items. 

Event highlights: 

• 15+ fixers and exhibitors: local volunteer fixers will assist with small electrical repairs, clothing and textile mending, jewelry fixing, pottery repair, and knife sharpening. 
• E-waste collection by Dunk Disposal: as part of Waste Reduction Week, we are proud to offer an e-waste collection service provided by Dunk Disposal. Safely dispose of old electronics, such as phones, computers, and other devices, in an eco-friendly manner, ensuring these items don't end up in landfills.
