Scratchboard - Art From Scratch!

Scratchboard is a fun and easy to use medium, where specially prepared papers or clay boards are covered with black ink. Using a scraping tool (wooden, plastic, sandpaper, steel wool or craft knives) you scratch away the black ink to reveal the colours beneath.

Scratchboard can be a fun and easy way for artists of any age to create bold and graphic - or highly detailed pieces.

I will bring samples of detailed scratchboard works, and have lots of different scratchpapers, boards, and different tools for you to safely try
